Sunshine Bakes
I make a wide range of bakes, including birthday cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and loaf cakes.
Most bakes are collection only although I do have some items that can be posted - edible gifts in the post - what's not to like?
I also make a wide range of cake toppers, so personalisation can be added to every order.
Bakes are all made in a domestic kitchen where nuts, gluten and other allergens are handled. I'm afraid I currently don't accept 'free from' orders.
The Story Behind The Sunshine
Sunshine Makes and Bakes was started in 2016 when I'd had to give up teaching due to my diagnosis of M.E/CFS.
I can't teach anymore but wanted to build something that I could manage around my illness and energy and do from home. Slowly but surely I've built this small business into something I'm very proud of.
I decided on the name 'Sunshine Makes and Bakes' as I found myself using the phrase, "make your own sunshine" frequently. Having M.E changed my life in so many ways and it no longer became about the big things in life but about being able to find the sunshine in the little things: sunflowers, sunsets, baking, friends and family.

My aim is to bring each customer a little dose of sunshine in the form of my makes and bakes. Thank you for supporting me and my small business.
